ASSESSMENT
We conduct an extensive assessment to ascertain the client’s needs. In order to determine if treatment is necessary and, if so, what treatment program is the most appropriate, our assessment team conducts an interview with the client. During this interview, it is important to review the client’s history of alcoholism and drug addiction. In many cases, clients will have mitigating factors such as childhood trauma, physical and/or sexual abuse and alcoholism in their family. All of these factors can provide the Court with the pertinent information regarding each client’s different circumstances and guide the court in offering the suitable alternative sentence.

PLACEMENT
After a thorough assessment of the client, Assessment Intervention Resources selects the most appropriate treatment facility according to the client’s needs. Assessment Intervention Resources has a large variety of different programs that we work with to ensure that every client is suitably placed with regards to their religious beliefs, financial resources, race, sexual orientation, gender, and any possible disabilities or mental health issues. Once the Courts approve a suitable program, Assessment Intervention Resources provides direct transport to the treatment facility. Assessment Intervention Resources’s extensive contact network and 15-year reputation as a highly regarded service provider in alternative sentencing and intervention opens doors normally closed to the public typically with no waiting period.

COMPLIANCE
Assessment Intervention Resources follows through in satisfying the court’s requirements. Occasionally, the client’s legal stipulations are not met simply by entering treatment. The courts may require a mandatory appearance from clients to review their progress. Assessment Intervention Resources is responsible for maintaining contact with the treatment facility to ensure the client is in compliance with the rules and guidelines and compiles this information for the court’s review. Legal compliance is the step that makes alternative sentencing and treatment possible. For Assessment Intervention Resources to deliver for the client, families, doctors and the courts, compliance must be managed responsibly and proactively by a trusted professional.

LONG-TERM CASE MANAGEMENT
Assessment Intervention Resources maintains long-term case management for the client including: 1. Monitoring client compliance with the program. 2. Providing progress reports to the courts. 3. Appearing on behalf of the client in court. Ensuring these steps are taken adds meaningful professional support for the client. Assessment Intervention Resources services also extend to long term services for the client’s family and/or significant other as well as probation departments following completion of initial treatment phase.
